'write on components'

Hello to all I have designed a mechanical component a frame of a machine and now I would like to write the header of the companies where I work directly on the piece and more precisely on a tubular.
How to do that? the decal command seems too laborious to make a simple writing.
I thank you and I express that I want to do it directly on the ipt and not on the table dwg.

on the face where you want the writing, do a sketch with the text you want, then simply extrude it.

understood but there is no other way to make a true writing? the method of extrusion is not very elegant

if you write emboss inventor in the guide or here on the forum and came out of every one.

the command is located in the template board, create group, > 'emboss'/'sbalzo'
