Good morning to all my name is luca
First of all compliments to the site that follows for a long time, but now I would need your help too.
I should report a script on a solid 3 d in particular I should write on a cylinder so that the writing appears wrapped around the wall of the solid, I tried in various ways but without success.
Can someone please give me some info about it?

I think I need something simpler, in the sense that I have to create some kind of ethicket around my cylinder so I think it would be enough to apply a material with the image of the etching, the problem is that the material sticks it but the etching is not legible because only portions are reported and also placed randomly despite I have arranged the scaling

Perhaps the size of the image with the writing should be proportional to those of the cylinder development rectangle. so mapping should work.

drawing and labeling are in scale 1:1 so in theory there should not be the problem of scaling, among other things the image appears climbed mcorrectly but is not displayed in whole, if you see half and then restart from the beginning.
