zigrination of a screw

hello to all, today's problem is:
the zigrination of the screws like these http://forum.nexthardware.com/gallery/index.php?n=13083the question 1: there is a system to show it in a "cosmetic" way or it is to build (which then when you put it in an overall with 2/300 equal screws...).

the question 2: the zigrination of the image is vertical, but if you want to build with the functions the classical zigrination (that cross ... that then is the true zigrination, the vertical one is called in another way if I do not remember badly, .. but I do not remember ... :d ) how can you do it?

Hello, Reggio. the cosmetic system with a texture is the fastest and lightest system to do so. if you make the cutting function for n zigrinatures, multiplied by m screws, it becomes very heavy.

the prismatic enjoyment with crossed profile can be realized in different ways, starting from two threads a right and a left.

in my opinion it makes no sense to realize a complete model if not for the aesthetic factor that you pay in decay of performance of the pc.

Forget about modeling things, you lose only time and resources (..oh, but never change, eh? :tongue::biggrin.
If you look in the aspects of swx texture there is a "rigatura" that also serves for cosmetic fillets (now I don't remember what it is called, then I go looking for it.. but you find it "cutting" in the property manager of the aspects/colors etc.).
you can adjust the angle of application in order to show it horizontal or vertical (or tilt as you like).
