Hello, everyone! I assembled all my pieces... and at the end the final assembly turns out the assemblies of various other subassemblies plus some "wisted" pieces that I collected in "groups" with grouping. .

Now I wonder... is it possible to make the explosion of such groups and subassembled?

i.e. if I click on "exploded" I get a slaughter. Because it's hundreds of pieces... but I'd like it to blow me up but only to separate the various subassemblies and groups!

Is it possible? How do you do that? Thank you!

if you go to view - management views has exploded, create a new one, then click on property, change location, give it the direction and then select from the tree model all the subaxieme that you will have to move.

Hi.

Okay, it works on the subassemblies, but I can't move the groups... how can I do that?

with groups I mean all those pieces (.prt) that I had to assemble on the final .asm and that I grouped in the .asm once assembled...(I selected them, right click: group)

Hi.
Excuse me, could you tell me, once you created a new explosion and set everything as I want, how do I save? ?
because when I go out and return... the new explosion remains saved.. but I lose all the settings I had put (the position of the various subassemblies) :( :( :( :( )

hello! please help me...I created an explosion of subassembled going in management views --> exploded --> new

I imposed all the various subassemblies placing them as I wish... but then I do not remain saved to the exit from proes... how can I do?

ok thank you! But when I go to make the 2d of the Exploded...how do I set the explosive that I created and not the default one? Thank you. !

double click on the view and look at the image.

and once placed in the 2d... how do I give him the orientation I want to the full explode?
I mean, is there a way to get the whole thing oriented as I want? without using angles, or default views?

the view orientation is independent from the state of explosion or not.
do so:
orientate objects in the desired way, then go on: management views>orienta>
click in the window with the central mouse button and give a name to the new orientation then sending and the game is made

Good day to all,

I try to ask in this discussion a question about the exploded state.

Is it possible in the environment together and not design to measure between a non-exploding component and an explosive component?

when I try to measure it always gives me respect to the non-explosion

Even with creo 3 it is possible to take measurements with components in the exploded state.
I found nothing in the config about it.

I believe that distance simulations, you can only do them with the actual positioning of the component or creating a translation mechanism.

alternative to model measurement. However, you could create a view of the explosion on the table with the most suitable orientation for the measure to be carried out and quotated. later you could move with desired increment.
You'd have the distance you're looking for.
Bye.
