mass property frame elements

I can't solve the following problem: I realize a frame (through "frame generator" consisting of library elements (e.g. cable profiles) and, when I go to check the mass properties after the upgrade I find them completely wrong. in fact the specific weight attributed to the material is always 1 instead of 7,6 (ferro).
Can someone teach me how to solve this case?

if you use the frame generator (in fg theme), in the insert window you have the possibility to choose type of material and color
normally it is set on "sweet steel", which should bring back the weight of the iron.
check that it's not set on "default" because it gives you the specific weight of 1.
p.s.
The specific weight of iron is 7.87...
