Good morning, everyone!
I have a problem: I have to insert a design on dwf (autocad native) and put it on a new model of autocad.
The same thing my colleague did, but even copying the two files in the same folder I can't make them recognize each other.
You know what the solution is? ? ? ?

with the latest versions you can insert dwf as external references... .

for what I know a dwf cannot be converted into dwg.
but you can insert it in a dwg as an image and work on it

There are commercial tools to do so. freeware instead nothing.
but it doesn't seem to want a conversion. . .

as I said then depends on the autocad version, the latest versions allow you to insert them directly as external references, with also use of snaps.

the version is 2010. I don't know how my co-league entered it (which is now unreachable), perhaps with a command called "attach(something)".
with "recognize" I meant that I wanted to try to reconnect the link that united them to be able to review the lines on autocad... .

the command to insert it as external reference is _dwfattach, you do not need to insert it as an image.

you can recreate the connection in the external references panel by giving it back the path.
