problem with imported section

Bye to all,
I should erode on a matrix a client's logo, which supplied me in dwg format.
I use wf3, just amount the section in sketch environment, the first notice that gives me is that "it is trying to import an excessive number of entities...", proceed to import the section but opens a menu on the right from which I should regenerate the section and solve the inconsistencies, but there is no way to solve, also because there are an infinite number of lines (autocad polyline).
I tried to change the precision of the part and precision in sketch environment, but I can't solve it.
Other times I solved by hand rebuilding some overlapping or trimming line where necessary, but this time there is no direction.

do you know if there is any parameter to set to manage "the excessive number of entities", or if there is a way to make the section one entity?

Thank you all.

is a job I do every day, you should clean up (discover) the dxf well with autocad(I usually imposed also zero), and then you should export as iges.
Once you do, import it into the part and go into the sketch and with the command ''use spigolo''' generate your profile.

Unfortunately I'm not very good with autocad.

I have a dwg file and set it up so I don't have superimposed or not perfectly matching lines. the problem arises from the fact that the whole section is made by polylines, so pro/e sees an infinity of entities that obviously cannot manage.

Could you explain your method better?

or is it possible to convert polylines into spline without altering the profile?

Then do this:
open the dwg with autocad, explode everything, then put the zero where you want and save it in iges format then load it as part in pro and, and the game is done.
if you want to post the file I make you in 5min
