I write because the command "shell" in proe nn is clickable!
I know very little proe and use it mainly to make touches to files imported from alias in step format.

lately I needed to empty some parts with the "shell" command... and so I did until a few days ago!

This morning instead importing the new file I find the button not active! !

Who can give me an explanation and a solution?

the shell only works on solid geometries not on surfaces. . .
your imported file is 100 % a surface.

thanks for the answer, the files that I amount are not surfaces, because before exporting them from alias I turn them into solids, this explains the fact that until a few days ago the shell worked! !
