Hello everyone are new to the forum first a greeting to all users and compliments to the forum.

That's my question.
it is possible with autocad 2008 or higher versions. import magnets and extrapolate the photo points and then create a block or design?

I'll tell you what to do.

I have a car that cuts polysterol and only accepts dwg files or coreal draw..insomma technical programs, what I want to do is import es. image (winnie the pooh) and make it accept to the machine then convert the photo to a autocad file. I hope I've been clear.
If you don't, can you recommend another program? thanks to all

if your is a raster image (like .bmp, .jpg, etc.) then autocad safely import images, but to make that you need, you must then "recalc it"... in practice use the image as a reference and draws on it with lines and curves of autocad.
It's certainly not a very fast operation. . .
you need a vectorizer, a program that transforms raster images into vector images.
once with chorel draw was provided, but I talk about several years ago... Now there are definitely more precise programs than I felt.
Maybe there's something free.

If you already have the image in vector format, then you just need a format converter.

Thanks for the answer. I'll try with choreal draw.

I practically should do just those images that come out in the puzzle relaxation where you go to join only the numbered points....

vector images are difficult to find, especially those of comics. My purpose is to make the machine cut (polysterol) cartoon figures.

on the internet looking you could find images in eps format managed by coreldraw and illustrator

eps is vector

wintopo transforms raster images into autocad manageable designs, there is the professional version but also the free one. oviously the final result probably is to settle a little, but this depends very much also on the incoming images

you find it on the net easily.
