Hello everyone
I have been using sheetmetal for 18 years and not until offi.
I was asked to develop some extremely simple figures.
but I'm not completely satisfied, and I'll explain why:
the sheet a question is a simple extrusion (see images)
making ublend the development remains uncentred on the plans.
How can I achieve the unblend correctly, that is, by having the symmetry as a fixed point?

I don't know if you can do as you ask.
When you use the flat series, you still need a flat surface or in the absence (as in your case) a corner from which to develop geometry.
it is possible to resort to tricks, making for example a flat part near the half-axis but, I avoid them.

I could not make a flat part because the component is aesthetic
I should do a cut to eliminate the problem.
This other component has no straight edge: I developed it with the "flatten quilt" command but I don't know how reliable it is.

the function you use from the developments in a correct way only that you have to use it by paying attention to the factor k of the material (although in your case the "folding" rays are very wide and therefore should not give you any problem).

Look at this sample movie.
after the flat series a family table instance is created to have the two side configurations, the flat one and the folded one.
if in the same table (.drw) you will want the views of both configurations (flat and folded) you will have to add the two models.
