I would have some questions to ask you that they did not find answer on the program guide and in the exercises.....premetto that I have the version 14 of solid edge1)The distances of the mass center towards the x-y-z plans are calculated starting from the origin of the latter and therefore if there is no symmetry in the component or is disapproved it will be necessary to create a new coordinate system and calculate the center on that to have consistent results...right?

2)Is it possible to insert the baricentro automatically in the table? or is it only possible to do so by drawing a point with the coordinates of the baricentro of the piece(or the assieme) of interest?

3)It is possible to change a quota by inserting in its place a word, a letter, a symbol etc. (I tried with the prefixes and suffixes but the value of the quota always remains).

4)in the express route environment, is it possible to create a path of a pipe by interspersing it with components (valves) that have no other "point of support" if not the tube itself?

I only have v18, I don't know if the functions are the same, however:

if you have to calculate the quantities compared to a reference frame "custom", see attached image

Sure, you have to open the dwg with solid edge, copy the cartilage and paste it into the background, but if you do a search in the forum you will surely find more detailed explanations.

you can (in assembly), the tube is a part like all the others from the geometric point of view and therefore you can bind on any other side; would be more correct however to place utilities, valves, fittings, stoppers etc... and then college everything with the pipes, in this way a subsequent modification is more logical and simple, it will be enough to move the components and the pipes will follow accordingly. .

thanks to the straights, I understood everything except how the centerpiece is placed in the table.in the attached file part there is the component with its coordinate system on which I calculated the center of gravity...in the draft file there is the display window where however I do not appear the coordinate system.

Do you have any other suggestions to give me?

perhaps in the v14 it was not possible to see the center of gravity at the table. you sure in the most recent versions you can, as you were shown.

dwg files won't open them to me if.... will it be because it's an academic version?

But I copied and glued the paper from the file.dwg and glued in the background.
It only worked that in "bottom frame" mode (where I glued the cartilage) if you wanted to change it opens the dwg file from which I copied it and makes me make changes in autocad.
In the end, I'm so satisfied.

I continued to try and just can't view it the centerpiece in draft environment....can it be exclusive to more recent versions?
