Bye to all,
I am learning to use the fluid-structure interaction functionality within the workbench (in ansys11), especially for a cylindrical tube containing a fluid, to which I imposed input speed and output pressure. but imposing an elastic module of the tube smaller than that of steel (e.g. 1gpa), the simulation does not come to convergence and the error message is as follows:
error #001100279 has logged in subroutine erraction.
| message:
| cfx encountered the error:
| 0. a folded mesh has stored. this process will shut down as soon as possible.
even trying to jam the mesh the result does not change.
I would like to know if someone has already used the fluid-structure interaction and can give me some tips on the shortcomings to be adopted for deformable materials.
Thank you!
