I press that I did a research but I didn't find what I was looking for... always I didn't miss! !

Is there a way to control the threaded couplings in itself? in the sense
that for example if I have a piece with a hole m20 where I mount a threaded pin m20x2, in the model 3d they mate without problems, in reality not.
if it escapes the control of the boards that one is threaded m20 and the other instead m20x2 are forced to remake one of the 2 details.

in assembly in the menu inspects/check interferences there is the possibility to check the interferences between various pieces, but the threads I found nothing.

Is there a special command or some escamotage to control them? . . .
not to miss a priori in design?
Thank you.

I have no, also because from what I see if it treats the threads all the same way: it is limited to coloring green the affected surface. for the rest it just takes from holes or pipethread the parameters to fill any fields in the draft, but I don't think that you see the correctness of the coupling. also because m20 or m20x2 for him are simply text fields

I also felt the assistance and fortunately solid edge performs this kind of control.

we must do this:
in order to verify the interference between the threads, the command controls the interference in assembly.
since all threads have interference, you have to set the item (in interference options) ignores interference between threads.
this option will ignore the interferences between the correct coupled threads, and will display the interferences between threads not properly fitted
I tried and works:finger:

this is not true as they are managed in addition to the nominal diameter, also the diameter of hazelnut and the diameter of crest, as well as the technical name of the thread.

This data is used to represent lines in the dft according to the selected design standard. these data are used for quota calls and tables. and during the interference calculation to check whether threads were used with consistency.

to say that in itself it is only colored the part seems to me a big simplification. This is what is missing from the threads in order to make them complete so that they can ask for assistance.

Hi.

This is what is missing from the threads in order to make them complete so that they can ask for assistance.

Hi.
threads of if they are done very well, especially after seeing those of swx!!! !

The only thing missing is the automatic award in the draft: now he quotes me as a diameter and I must subsequently edit the quota by removing the diametric symbol and putting on us the %ts, if instead he did it alone...

the problem is that if being a soft American is born to use callouts as a standard method (anxies) to quote threads, while from us the iso standard is different, we hope sooner or later implement it.

I'll try to get a better call, too, but the other times I've tried, it's not like the var has seen me a lot.

I was referring to the 3d, where it is limited to coloring the threaded area and creating a hole in the size of the core, but it is obvious that it is a choice to simplify the display. As far as I am concerned apart from an error that I have not yet managed to put in place in the format of my holes.txt, I have nothing to exceed, apart from perhaps the possibility of using the modification quotas to change hole size and thread. I speak of classical modeling

what I didn't know is that it controlled the consistency of the threads, is a very useful thing

curiosity: I imagine controls that threads have the same name, or just check the size shown in holes.txt? because a possible error in holes would perhaps give me a correct indication on the design, but a verification of the kind in the 3d should give me an error

if you activate the display of finishes is represented with a texture that simulates the thread. during renderings is not so bad.

for interference control I believe it limits to the control of the thread name (I have never verified). again when quoted if the same name appears is the same thread and therefore there is no problem. thinking about it, making a control by limiting the diameter of hazelnut and ridge diameter is not said the step is then compatible.
for quotation almost I make a macro that changes the selected quota by deleting the text and showing the name of the thread. What do you think?

ciao

great idea for the macro, tomorrow I will ask the assistance that implement in itself automatic recognition of threads in the next releases.

I will also try to edit the holes.txt file to check if the interference control only makes control of the thread names or if it goes to see the diameter values of hazelnut etc.

I did the test by editing the file holes.txt, I copied a thread keeping the values of the diameters equal and changing only name and group.

making a particular with 2 equal holes, of which 1 is the one with name and renamed group, coupled with the screws, with the interference control signals me precisely that there is an interference on the renamed one, so the control that makes solid edge is only at the level of name and not of values of the diameters

Um, if you do the macro, I guess it would be better than after I put all the various quotas in the drawing, it makes an "update" for the quotas tied to the threads with the substitution as you say, a little as it did the macro update of the tolerances, all at a single stroke. otherwise ok, save a few clicks at altitude (and chase them away), but at that point it is better the proposal of tequila. so instead I put them all a bit, then click with the final and so on:cool:
I would also like to add to the list of quotas that I propose to update and remove those that I do not want to be updated (I think about the possible quota of the preforo that I do not want to update)
until you are around, if the same macro contains the addition of the "ø" to the quotas related to a hole or a circular surface?
ah, cold-stained coffee:biggrin:

request received, in addition to the threads I asked to implement the automatic recognition of the diameter symbol on the views where the geometry of the particular is cylindrical (there is already but only on the views where actually the circle-shaped piece is seen, in the other views where it can be misunderstood there is).
its recent call to the global technical access center, opened on 03-may-2010 as incident report ir number 1785891 was examined by our gtac software analysts. analysts have established that this open signal as a problem is actually a request for improvement to the current software features.

this ir has been transformed into a request for improvement (er-enhancement
request) on 03-may-2010 and is now defined as er number 1785891.
is now open for review

tequila, did you ask that in asm with the inspect command indicates the name of the thread?

What do you mean? if I asked my dealer to implement this type of indication on inspect or if there is already?
if it is required you can do it, but do it also at your dealer/assistance, at least there will be more similar requests

What do you mean?
I didn't know what you asked.

I am interested in the problem, which is:
are in asm and I have to choose and insert the screw in a threaded hole of a "a" part already present. to know the thread of the hole of "a" I am forced to open the dft or the part because in asm it is not possible to obtain it.

thanks to the opendraft of francesco is not so a tragedy.. but if the dft does not yet exist you lose a lot of time.

Can you tell me what you write in the request so I do it the same?
thanks g.vespignani

I made the request that the software in the draft environment when using the quotation between 2 items or the smart size, if you quote a threaded hole
both in a section or a view in the plant where you see the circle + the one at 3/4 which symbolizes it, automatically feel the thread and put the correct quotation (or at least one can set it automatically if you also need the diameter of pre-forum etc.), using roughly the same principle that you can set on the call command.
I also asked that when you quote a particular where there are cylindrical geometries etc. put the diameter symbol correctly, i.e. if on the view in the plant I see the circle if the quot does not need to present me the diameter symbol, but if I also have the side view where of this particular (we assume a cylindrical plug) the geometry in the draft I see it as a rectangle in this case is correct that I indicate the diameter symbol. ..what solid edge does not currently do.

if you have a license at least classics, this can already be done with the system control

tequila: then we have different needs. Do nothing.

se_user: I have st2 foundation, and x bolt I use a pdm, the bull. I created it in 2003 and the standard parts were not yet released, so now I haven't even installed them.
