problems per caricature automatic mechanical fall

Good morning to all,
As usual, I have a big problem to solve. . .

Since I haven't used my PC for a long time, being supportive of another technical office, today I find myself putting my "old friend" hand back on.

specific that I used it but not to draw but only to work with other programs but today I have to put hand to drawings I opened autocad and surprise... bitter surprise.. .

the icon I used usually to launch mechanical has pulled me numbers because it doesn't open it anymore but well it makes me start autocad mechanical desktop.

But it never gave me problems, only once I remember but I had settled the situation but now I don't remember how I acted.

How can I do to get my machanical back?? ?

I also tried to look at if there were problems with loading settings, but it doesn't seem, just not charging

My is a 2008 version on xp

"c:\program files\autodesk\acadm 2008\acad.exe" (it should be more or less so). .

Unfortunately the acad.exe points to the mechanical desktop...

No, I don't think so.
sometimes it can do so if the last time you opened it was precisely with mechdesk.. or with mech if you just wanted the "smooth".

you tried to open it from start > all programs > autodesk > mechanical desktop > autocad mechanical 2008, or otherwise "addent" until you find the icon of its executable? so it should always work (if just no casino has happened:smile.
then maybe delete the link icon and bring a new one back to the desktop starting from the one you found earlier.

try to do a search of all acad.exe present on the pc...

was the opposite; with mechdesk you also had the mech and the "leave" :smile:
but the "father" is the mechdesktop and if you opened with the "main" icon it was accessed to that. the other you need to bring them as a desktop link... or choose during the installation if you insert them all, I don't remember anymore.

guys are not asking how but after I had put my heart in peace and convinced that I can no longer review my autocad mechanical I decided to use the mechanical desktop with the settings I had on the other program, so they are well equal and the libraries worked the same.. .

and today instead, ta daaaaa... .

using the same icon that I used always autocad part and instead of loading the mdt I charge the mechanical!!!:3553::3553:

I have no idea what happened, but because everything works!! !

if you solved ok, otherwise you could restore the backup done before cleaning the registry keys. because the program will have made a backup of the register I think.. .
However, while being very useful and necessary, certain cleaning programs of the register must always be used carefully. sometimes they can mess up.. .
