there is already present the instrument quota, is available only in phase of sketch/modification.
If you want to add the measuring tool, press the letter s you will open some quick tools and from there you can customize the tools you want.

I did as you suggested, but some choices appear to me including there is no measuring instrument.
while design, check how far the pieces are for assembly or their operation etc. I use the technique to select two edges or faces with the ctrl key and then click on the tool measured on the bar to evaluate. It allows me to show me a series of measures.... It's convenient, at least for me. only that I have to move with the mouse and select the tab evaluate and then measure. I would like that after selecting the 2 faces or edges, it immediately proposed the tool measured between the quick options.
Is it possible?

paolo go to a toolbar, do button dx opens a window at the bottom choose "personality " another window opens you choose the tab "keyboard" here you will find all the sw scrolls until you find the tool size and check a quick button save and exit, then you will just crush a button and you can measure what interests you.
