hi guys the question is pretty stupid(I am at first arms)...the professor explained to us the operation of solid works as parametric software that I work through equations and made us see that once completed a part it is possible to change a parameter and (if properly bound) it automatically modifies the other parts...as you will imagine it does not work....:grawn:.after you know I have made a simple skecht and have extruded it

It's not that you understand much, except that you don't change what you'd expect, but where?
I think you completely lack the basics to use swx so I recommend you do the tutorials starting from the understanding of the sketch, modeling the parts, creating the assemblies.

I hope I made myself understand. . .
Not so much:

after the change to the quota you have risostruito all with the "semaforino" button?

if you refer to the fact that All the dimensions must change (and not only what you have modified) then as the prof. explained all the quotas must be in relation (using constraints and/or equations) of course.

but as said:
tutorials, help and guide online.

greetings and welcome

excuse but...if you change a quota, the design is updated by changing the size relative to that quota. That's right. What would you expect?

Maybe post some screenshots

thank you so much! I missed to press on the "semaforino"!as I will follow your advice on using the tutorials..thanks again!
