I am looking for material to be able to make a relationship for my mechanical technology examination at the end of the year.
my teacher among the various rules to do the exam also imposes the realization of a relationship with various documents to be delivered (see this link to understand the various documents to be delivered http://www.dimnp.unipi.it/santochi-m/infoprogetto.htm). the professor said to look for a mechanical assembly of some simple, but not trivial, on the internet or to let it give from some engineering studio, he will himself tell us what to do of the overall or if too complex to search for new material.
My problem is that I can't find anything good on the internet so I thought I'd ask you directly if you can do me the courtesy of passing some project? the rest of my comrades arranged to find projects passed by their acquaintances or fathers who are engineers only that I do not have this possibility. Give me a hand? Let me know why I'm desperate... .

otherwise what you ask is an entire project completely carried out and ready for construction.. I don't think that copying is the intent of the assigned exercise.

I don't know you but I'm not able! Consider that I don't know how to use the machine placed by technical_plast I just realized that it is a support that will then be mounted on some press, but to understand how it is done it is hard! Perhaps with some name of the various components you can risk something though, I repeat, if you do not know its operation it is difficult to do details from that total with two views!

I'm sorry but here I'm laughing, the intent of the exercise is this:

1) overall design and drawings of the details studied in the project;

2) processing cycle to machine tools of every detail: (a) cycle sheets appropriately compiled; (c) drawings of any special equipment necessary; d) cn programme for the processing of a particular

3)study of fusion of a particular:

a) drawings of the crude element, model and soul crates;

(b) brief report containing: the study of the cooling of the jet, the sizing of the materozza and the casting system, the calculation of the metallic thrust and other considerations concerning the study carried out;

4) study of moulding of a particular:

a) drawing of the crude element and the finishing mould;

(b) short report containing the sizing of the bava channel, any intermediate outlets, the calculation of the moulding force and other considerations relating to the study carried out.:finger:

Now to tell us point one is to be understood as drawing made with solidworks so the complete project you say (on paper) I need just or at least to great lines!
Consider that the teacher knows that we have already passed the drawing exam so the part that is related to the drawing serves only for formalities seen points 2) 3) and below.
And then guys are at university, I know how the exams work so it's not my interest to copy! :finger:

for the moment I can not help you, and in any case it is difficult to find a ready project with a lot of paperwork and tables of details.
I also understand that from a total it is almost impossible to trace back to the individual components, if you do not have a specific experience of the industry.
in any case your intuition is right, it is a mold that should be mounted on a press.

If the prof wants such a thing, he should be himself to provide the material to the students, since it is assumed that it should be he to keep contacts with the companies possibly.

in my time for the examination of cotrutions of machines there was to do something like yours but the wonder that the professor yours wants everything already ready. from me you had to find a real object to bring to the prof. that contained at least seven non-commercial details to be detected and to make the models in 3d with relative putting on the table. Then there was obviously to do the complective and relative putting on the table. of a piece then where you needed to do a eyes to consider that the prof knows that you have passed the drawing exam because it can always break the boxes if for him the drawing is quoted bad and you know that from how it is quoted a piece you understand a lot as a designer is worth.

Thank you, I don't think so. I finally have some material. last night I took a trip on the forum and got some more material, now nothing but show the whole thing to the prof. and put me to work!
