right click on the edge and drop down menu "hide edge".

since 2010 you don't even have to shake your right; just click the line and you will see the context icon to hide/review immediately.. (in 2011 are already invisible by default just those you had in mind to hide, think.. :biggrin::biggrin

Thank you. our solid works service once made us hide the lines by tracking a white one, maybe in that version (2008 I think) was not yet possible.

I don't know what to think. I only know that for years the company's preposses have always put the sticks in the wheels about solidworks.

the dassault has presented a new radically different platform in the way of understanding the cad. This will not mean that the current swx will be abandoned, but that perhaps (I say maybe, it's still very philosophical) will evolve into something different, but still a cad.

At this point I would be curious to know who these autodesk dealers are having fun inventing problems and risks on competition products, if I happen to have such a seller I would put it at the door immediately.

I started using swx from 99 when autodesk sold mechanical desktop. they told us that a product like swx would not make way, that mdt was more reliable, etc...
after little they started the swx chase with inventor changing alune terminologies and trying to make it clear that their product was not copied but of new conception. inotre mdt died and self-desk customers who had to use the first versions of inventor had a great deal of fun.
I am quite up-to-date about swx info and I have never heard anything like that. Keep in mind that even the ptc seemed to have a radical cut between proes and I create, but it seems that in the end there are no + big changes of a normal version change.
wary of commercials who shoot dances of this caliber and regarding what inventor has more... talk about it here, maybe it is not so obvious that they tell you all the truth.
and when they say "our strong is the table" you say you want to see with your eyes.

to learn how to get out alone from particular modeling problems within complex projects will take at least 3-4 months of continuous work on that cad.
abandon the road known for a new entails considerable waste of time, then more your level of use of swx is high + you will find difficulty in making this transition.

It is clear that they give you an infarination, I started with inv. 5.3 (a toilet ) and we are at 2011, which for what I do is fine, and I am still here that I learn something new (as all of us ).
When I was younger and flex, as an employee I did a caty course (turned on a main frame inserted in a air-conditioned room that was afraid) and in three months we did not understand anything.
the tutor was also particularly pelandrone and the program, main frame, course, electrostatic plotter and conditioning did not pay my employer but c.e. so no one looked after productivity.
it was cool to say that in the company you had cadam and cadam, also because for some customers or you used certain sw (see computervision at 60 million at station to make platelets and washers) or you didn't work.

the most diverse users, who had never seen a cad 3d and came from autocad, who used inventor, who swx who solidege and who had used long before something proe...
at the end of the 21 days, the greatest satisfaction was to feel that:
sin that is actually finished 21 days are few there is still so much to learn and have asked to develop new paths.

many users have learned the methodology, which is very different from the use of inventor,swx,proe,ecc end to itself.
This is also what it says to be learned only with months of work, or by developing curriculum guides with practical examples and explanations different from case to case or with the training formula on the job.. more than 3 days of training!

I also used catia v2 and cadam r21 in 1989, on mainframe 4381 and terminals 5080... tettarelle etc... remember. .
And what nerves... cv cadds 4x for everyone...
