I was a vx owner and user. I was because they told me that since 2011 the program and its assistance will no longer exist.
I am therefore at a crossroads:
1) accept to switch with the new managers (Chinese) of the zw program.
2) find an alternative valid at acceptable prices.
My question is to understand which way to take and if any of you have already made choices.

I also have a vx license, although it has never been used thoroughly since I had already nx, it seemed like a good product .

I think you should consider what changes are like management costs and training.
Is this zw the evolution of vx or a completely different cad?

But it seems to me that everything was... changed the name in zw3d but the kernel and user interface remained equal. . .
Am I wrong?

Sorry the delay preparation-h,
I finally found time to download zw3d in trial version.
It's like you mentioned it, it changes very little and it's definitely new. especially in tool management where it is easier to define a cutter or tip.
the problem is more than anything else that in some way obliges you to purchase the new product by warning you in mid-December to end at the end of the year.
in these times of lean it seems that someone speculi a little too!!!!!
