When creating a "matter of materials" the relative description (of the material) appearing in the legend, is contained in the descriptive identities field.
It is also possible to select/insert in the field : information on key notes, an additional indication, importable in the legend view and assign it to the specific material (i.e. it will be a different key note).
Naturally, the key note assigned/selected (specific material) will not be visible if assigned to other material.

In practice, "lightly landing" can also be indicated "the type of element", even in the legend views, in a "automatic" way.

There are also key notes "by element" and "by user" that can be assigned to elements in the "normal" views, but not in the legend views.

another method is to assign an indicative number/character to each type of element, imported into labels (normal view).
subsequently with the abachi selecting the "reference no." and "descriptive type" it is possible to obtain a "table" to be imported in the relative table.

This table can also be used in the table with the legend view, applying, in place of the description (and/or of the key note) characters or reference numbers that link to the table/baco

Does this also apply to the legend of the fixtures?
I have revit 2013 and there are some different parameters. doesn't make me write a description but only choose between the names of the fixtures present in the project.
but also choosing the type of infix, the ascribed does not appear next to the design in legend.
