Hello everyone
I am new and therefore it is necessary that you present me before you put my problem.
I am a 29 year old mechanical engineer and use inventor 2011 both for structural and mechanical design. I know very well autocad from version 2000 but since I met the 3d I am strongly in love with it.
finish the presentations I ask you my problem.. .

I've got a set showing doors. I want a table about two basic views: the first with closed doors and the second with open doors.
the problem is that after saving the two views are both with open doors or both with closed doors.
Do you have a solution?

You have to make a position representation in the set.

in detail:
put an angle bond on the door hinge (e.g. 0° )
go to the browser under the name of the total --> representations --> (+) location --> button dx " new location "
activate the new location, search in the browser the hinge --> button dx " modifies " and change the value of the corner.

return to the main position and save.
in the table you can choose which position to represent and you can make a view with the two (or more) overlapping representations.
