runtime library error

Hello guys and recently I've been using inventor, I have a nice problem, when I make a cylinder with a hole in the center or a cilidro and I go to give the thread command or thread hole gives me this error and I close the program!!Who can help me solve the problem??? :frown::frown:

the thread table is an excel file.
to me it happened sometimes, after deep cleaning of the register, to lose the registration of excel and, consequently, not to be able to use inventor until the reactivation of excel.

Well, a couple of stupid questions: have you tried to do this on a completely new part and not always on the same side? did some evidence after rebooting the pc, and not simply restarting inventor? to me happen of these mistakes, and a reboot usually solves.

yes guys I tried to "make a new design" and make thread or threaded hole but always the same I tried to start even in temporary mode but nothing! !

random shot... excel is the default sw for .xls, or maybe there is openoffice installed? you have tried to verify that thread.xls, the thread file is in place (programs > autodesk > inventor [versione] > design date. )? and, even if it is in place, restore it with a backup copy?

While looking for the thread.xls I noticed that in my installation 2011 there is not the compacted file of the original data design, as I had in 2009. Is he somewhere else, or is he gone?

have you installed/uninstalled inventor or office?
do you have office "normal" 2003 or 2007?
 
Make a try:
move the thread.xls file to the basket (do not delete it permanently) and try to file.
should give you a message that doesn't find the file.
If he doesn't give it to you, and he keeps making you the usual joke, then the trouble is on the other side. .
