It is true that solidworks motion is not born for this purpose and I have not even mentioned it or recommended it.I hope you put us down, I want to see and evaluate. I saw videos made with 3dstudio that go far beyond what I saw in fact with swx+motion.
motion was not born to do "cinema" but to extract data (such as adams) and for that I would use it, it does not seem optimized to extract yarns in rendering. Maybe I'm wrong and I'm gonna be disappointed by 3dstudio, but the videos rendered with swx seem too heavy.
if then I have to hold a license only for this with a premium you buy almost 3dstudio licenses (3900 a list).
The classic animations are good, in my opinion.
I don't know what kind of cinema you have to do, but also big companies make small movies in opengl or with low quality rendering with the only animation.

we, if we ever have movies from movies, we rely on external companies that only do that.
for me the designer has to devote himself to the projects and has enough.
