Hello, guys.
I'm new in the use of the sw but having already used other three-dimensional software I'm pretty good.
I like the program very much but I know of the differences that I did not see in others.
example... a bearing, from the skf site, what format do you download it? or do you think it's better to download it?
I'm explaining why I'm asking you, I'm picking up the iges, I'm going to go back to the prt, and so far it's okay.
when I go to mount it, but it doesn't recognize me faces... it sees me the concentricity with the seats and/or tree...but it doesn't recognize me the faces...type to mount it on a shoulder.
Where do I make the mistake?

I tried to download it also in native format solidworks...but I don't know how to open it...has a .swb extension (? )

I would be grateful if you helped me in these very first steps.

Thank you very much.

It's a macro.

file-->new--part--> tools-->macro--exegui-->choose the swb file

automatically swx will create the bearing

for iges probably the "plane" faces were recognized as b-spline for which the soft does not interpret them correctly. actually using iges is really the last choice to make, only if others fail.

is a macro file.

for 3d to download stp or parasolid. iges are always surfaces, it is the last road and always make it worthwhile.

hello power23,

can you please tell me the url from where to download sw bearing files from the skf site?

Thank you.

Ignatius
