problem with the "bend" modifier

Hello everyone,
are "almost" new on this forum :)
I wanted to ask you a problem I couldn't find a solution. . .
in practice, given two columns (then fixed interasses...) I have to build on a bow starting from a box...; I then apply the blend with an angle of 180° and rotated by 90° compared to the axis z...and so far everything easy....; but in order to allow the other end to reach the other column I have to move the center of the blend modifier...; and here everything is smooth: the problem is, however...how can I perfectly match the upper base of the incurved box with the column!? I put an image.. .
thanks in advance... ;)

first thing the modifier is called blindfold (fold)

a method you can do is to calculate the circumference considering the intersection between the two column boxes and divide it by two, to get the height of the folded box

I'm sorry.
but there is no method to drag directly on the "drawing" the size of the arc height so that it fits perfectly with the column snap instead of changing the parameters on the modifier panel... ! ?

You can also select the folded box, select the gizmo, change from use pivot point to use selection center, and make an align on the center with a box placed between the two columns. .or with an edict poly drag your faces

Other methods don't come to mind. .

Yes, I have already tried to move the center and it works...; but my problem was to get the perfect overlap of the vertices. ..just because required by a work-architectural design (although this obviously for me is only an exercise...)..., I didn't want to take part in the simple eye precision. .
cmq, trying the method "circle" I feel good...even if it is a little "casereccio" as an alternative, but thanks to the same :)

If I go to edit with edit poly I think it becomes more complicated instead:confused:. . .

Build a "tube" object inserts the dimensions of the max distance of the columns as radius 1 and the lower distance of the columns as radius 2, then use the silce option of the geometry that you find at the bottom of the panel of the options of the tube.
