Notebook i7 + gt550 2 gb - per cad e altro

I need a laptop to make various jobs: autocad, 3d studio, solidworks, photoshop and illustrator - and office

in practice I wanted to replace my current desktop (which is very old) without spending a madness

we say that I do not have to deal with 1000 parts in solidworks or super objects detailed in 3d studio, because they would be simple jobs. in photoshop instead I should work on photos in hd

1-I read that gt550m (and generally non-certified ones) can give problems with solidworks or 3d study with artifacts etc...

2-someone knows what? or did you get to experience this even with some similar video cards?

3-for 3d studio I have some projects that have like 40,000 polygons (type buds) you tell that there is the video card to manage them in the viewport?

4-if I connect the video output to a 1980x1060 monitor, the video card suffers as fatigue, i.e. managing an external monitor would make it difficult for the computer?

5-say that a laptop exploited so would overheat much? especially in summer?

6-i7 in rendering would be exploited or an i5 from the highest frequency in ghz would be fine the same?

Does 7-someone know if they're going to get out of i8 or i9 in the short term?

8-Do you have advice or suggestions to give me about a netbook used for these works?

can give them but is not said, you usually prefer pc or notebook with professional video card dedicated to the cad

to wash on a pc in workshop where the storekeeper needed to display drawings the pc gave refresh problems but I am talking about an old pc with 128mb ati video card

it warms up even if you don't exploit it, maybe you will feel more the fans go in summer. if you happen sometimes the fans just open explorer or firefox to go to the internet

In theory both processors are fine even if you prefer those with higher frequency.

I8 do not exist... i9 had to be the six-cores but it seems that intel retained the name i7 also for these.

if you have the possibility to add some money try to see notebook precision of the or elitebook of the hp that are made specifically for these uses.
used try to do some research, usually for that price you can find a precision m6400 (17") or even m4400 (15.6") and if you are lucky even the most recent m6500 or 4500

Sorry my questions, but I'm a newbie in the hardware industry

In the end we are as power, it is difficult to notice the difference of performance between a notebook and desktop PC of similar hardware configuration. the problem of cpus as for the rest of the hardware in notebooks is the space and heat disposal, which on a desktop pc there is not seen that space there is. who then hurled both there is no doubt, but obviously always within the limits. on notebooks (I accept denials here) it is difficult that I bare at the point of damaging other components I have the structure itself. once it happened but now with the use of special materials to magnesium or aluminum no longer happens. on the desktop depends if they dimension the components well... to me it happened on the desktop of (I had already commented here on the forum) that undersized the cpu fan and when i turned on the pc after a few minutes the fan went to ball to cool and controlling the temperatures with speedfan were always high. in summer it happened that the pc turned out alone because it entered protection not to burn the cpu. after the assistance has replaced the fan is fine and the temperatures are widely within the limits.

without removing anything from the pcs of the great distribution, of and hp (elite) are another thing. Besides the certified components are machines born to work very, well built and that have no heat problems.
I always took some, the hp I saw them from colleagues and I tried non-certified notebooks. Unfortunately I am encapsulated in one that by rogne with swx and use it to navigate and use office applications.

n53sn-sx034x very similar to the one you post. I have an original license of autocad 2012 lt, the program on this pc goes on continuous crashing with the following error:
"the video driver intel grafics acceleretor drivers for windows 7 has stopped working and has been reset" . every command from me always followed this error also the icons of the fast menu bar disappear. I sent the pc back to the asus, they tell me it's perfectly working. . .then I contacted the autodesk that answered me saying that there is a problem of compatibility with the fact that the second generation i7 has an integrated intel 3000 hd card, so the pc under examination has two tabs envy and intel, always use thentel if it needs more power use envy, there is no possibility to totally eliminate the intel, this situation generates an incompatibility. I can't fix the rpoblema while having updated the drivers of both video cards. Does anyone have a similar processor on other pcs and use autocad?

I also had problems with a similar laptop with solidworks, though. mine was an i5-460 and also this exploits the nvidia optimus technology (double vga) and I couldn't do anything to solve the situation if I don't always leave the vga intel with the performance they perform. What is strange though is that even high-end laptops (of precision m6600) have this technology on board, maybe they will have optimized drivers...but for the time I prefer to keep my m6400 tight!

we discovered through the systemist and technical sw that worked the intel card and not the picture 3000, they said to have excluded the intel but reading the post now I have doubts that have succeeded.
question: Is it not that by working it with double monitor on a docking station, then monitor its + external monitor, you can solve the problem at least until you are in fixed position?

I have not read the article reported by giga, I am running. look that you can decide for single application that card use by drivers, if you don't find it I look at the acer as you do and I tell you.
