3d spline from solid edges

Hi, it's just that I use v5 and even after a discreet course I have several gaps.
In the case in question I should make a surface (or pocket, we will see) defined by the sketch nr. 9 visible to the left on a spline obtained from the edges selected in red.

How can I get this 3d spline?

Thanks

Hello luis

and one simple thing you have to pull out the curve, the rest is done quietly in 6-7 steps think about it is not complicated I attach video explanatory  how it should be played

Hi.

I apologize for the delay but I was absent for various reasons.
my problem was precisely in the extraction; I extracted the edges and created a union to define the director. In this way, however, the profile sweep does not stop on the defined limiter (see img), I do not know if it is caused by the fact that the extracted edges do not have tangency continuity.

I then changed system and created a profile to perform a groove on the solid (I just need the top); in this case the operation fails precisely because of lack of tangency on the dorsal ... :(

So I asked how to define a spline obtained from the edges or how to extract edges that are continuous in tangence (or to define them later on the extraction).

thanks anyway for the help, to the limit place the file (v5 r18), if someone has 5 min to lose us even if I would like to understand where I'm wrong the approach of the problem.

mail but I don't know if I can help you today, I'm messed up already solving manufacturnig problems and feasibility here from me, I have to stick a little designer  unbalanced

thanks for the availability.
meanwhile I have taken a few steps forward and cause slipping roadmap I have changed method (I do not touch the external solid and build an internal support).
where the coast did not work with the volume sweep (the same profile and director) I managed to create the internal support to the solid. But now I can't do it with a pocket from the sketch.28, probably because it's not part of the body, but here I planted.
other question: in general how do you sketch on surfaces not flat ? I generated a plan (project_facce_tasti) but I do not know if it is the best solution.

Hello
I would like to thank the rapporteur for his work.
as to the creations that line, obviously not in tangency.. So...
1- or extract the mere combination of edges in tangence of a certain length
2- or create the segment by imposing tangency bond with edge union
My question, however, is another, and I want it, not to create another confusion. ..for which to extend the guide,
you can also achieve the groove using the simple edge union
if eventually the groove will not give you the solid you can use the face
to create a pocket or thickness in negative....
I'll still check your file. .
I hope I've helped you.

Hi, the problem you submitted to the forum has intrigued me and I wanted to try to give a personal solution by making arbitrary and entirely personal deductions. At this point I would suggest you use the "costa" command, if you want to create a solid, or the "channel" command, if you want to remove the material. a tip, continue spline to the terminal surface. Good job.
