Hello everyone, I have a trivial problem, I have to draw the seat of a stick on a tree.
I did so: I made a tangent plan to the surface of the tree, I drew over the profile of the asola but I can not put the bond of hillyness of the axle with the axis of the tree. How do you do that? in solid works you do in a moment but here?

What's with this soloworks?
Maybe solidworks has by default automatic projection of axles and inventor no!
However, follow the advice of pagnotz, or, if you can, project the head edge of the axis, from half of this, you can pull the axis line, and also quote the distance from this and your asola.
I do this...

hi max, a passionate advice, if you went from soloworks to inventor, forget much of the things you did with solidworks, inventor has another way to proceed and reason, in any case the good pagnotz before and tarkus then have already given you the right straight.

Hi guys and thanks to all of the tips... Actually it took me a while to understand that it was projected the axis... everything ok now.... I did one project in inventor... and I put double that on sw but the initial shock I had put it in mind. Let's see if the next project is shipped.
