Bye to all,
I have a question linked to the export of a very high, I explain:
I made the model of a frame composed of more below axiemi and I would have the need to impose it on adams to carry out a series of dynamic analyses, to simplify things I would like to merge under axiemi in a single block so that I have to manage less details on dynamics only that I can not export in a smart way these under assimi because instead of creating a single "body" I can only create a mountain of surfaces that complicate me at this point.
Is there any malities I don't know?
Thanks for everything
Mar

hi marco, sincerely nn I can help you, I immediately had thought about what export in different format, but thinking well I know you get the individual parts as "imported" and nn solves your problem.
I'm sorry, but I never happened.

What part of Piedmont are you? What are you doing?

Hello I hope someone knows + me about your problem

hello and if you save in part by name? However, in this case it generates a lot of body as if you had imported it, and I don't think it changes much compared to dealing with his underarms.

Sorry for now no lighting:rolleyes:

I don't know exactly if it's your case, but if in swx saved as part of a set, you get a multibody. if you use the match command create a unique solid part. if you save it in other generic format (type stp) you will get a unique body formed by a solid.

I don't think there is any other way.

in addition to the suggestion to save subgroups as part file with option bodies and not surfaces and with subsequent 'abbina' functions inside the created multibody part, you may:
1) use the 'Conjunct' function in editing mode together, or.. .
2) from 2011 see / try to use the 'defeature' function

Hi.
I'm drawing with the sw2010 version but I can't find the matching command, I saw on the online guide that the solution could be smoked and is located under "insert - functions - match" but in my axis I don't have this command. Is it nested somewhere?

He's not here together. is in the parts; serves to "unite" multibody elements (as explained in the guide http://help.solidworks.com/2010/ita...rks/features/hidd_dve_feat_combine_bodies.htm we talk about parts).
first save the assign as part by popping the option all components (low left in the window) and then from that part you use the match.

the joint command appears in the part only in one case (explained in the guide):

- together with pieces that touch / interfere
- insert... new part
- click on the face where you want to start
- matching command

and create a new part with matching bodies

the matching command only works in multibody parts.

if you right-click the menu bar and customise add the command if you find under "functions". -->abbina.
