Save to all as from object I sell workstations of the precision m6400 from 17" with video card fx3700 of January 2010 purchased for collaboration-work, then rolls.

Now the pc is unused as I work as an employee and already own a pc to "home".

Hi, two questions:
1 - I know is 32-bit: is it possible to upgrade to 64bit?
2 - would the pc be billable?
3 - what kind of guarantee is active (surely the standard one, possibly you also have gold?). Do you know if the warranty is transferable?

As far as I know, there is no problem going to 64bit, except for a performance improvement.
the guarantee I have to verify it, I do not remember if I activated, but surely if yes, it was that standard.

hi, for " 64bit pass" I mean without buying a new win7 (I wonder if ms allows this type of upgrade with the same activation doice).

But if you can't invoice the discount would be too much so I'll pass to the next potential buyer!

1 - you have to ask for an upgrade with the dvd (if it is not foreseen at the origin; They usually do).

3 - the standard of the is 3 years. the warranty follows the object, not the owner, so it is always "automatically transferable":biggrin:. tried personally with my m6300 of 2008 purchased used by a private (like me), in January of this year (March 2011 warranty deadline) they replaced me motherboard and power supply for a simple problem of "false contact" to the spindle without a cent expense. the technician at home after 24 hours from the call, does not even check the problem, explain to the phone that happens and arrive home with the expectedly charged spare parts and change them "of office". done everything in half an hour, including the coffee I gladly offered.
