gratiec replaced prosteel.
the basic concept of the two software is the same, but they seem different in use. I believe that graitec needs specific training because it is difficult to borrow from that of prosteel.
the results of the modeling are quite good (for what I could see), the generation of excellent executives, decidedly higher than that of prosteel.
the cost goes from 5 to 7'500 euros.

for the rest no news, a yes, there was no tekla stand, I think it was not even present at the sae, in the list of exhibitors does not appear.

tekla at the made was... had the usual huge stand behind those of the graitec... in the exhibitors list I actually didn't see it either but probably because it was marked with the name of the Italian dealer and not like tekla... I don't know if to the knowe there was...

I would have two questions:
- Did someone go to the cobblestone? Was there people or how was it really sad? I went to the made Friday but there were real few people
- advance steel, I assisted while doing a demonstration in type of graitec and I heard that there is a direct link with tekla, since I have for my hands a job with a study telling me that it is going to move to steel from prosteel then I would like to know if someone tried the link, on what format of export turns (cis/2, bidnf 2/3, ifc, ...) and since it is a direct link ipoti

as I have already written in another post the 2011 sae was an atrocious sadness.

the organizers put on the site a pdf with the list of exhibitors of 2010 many of which were not present at the 2011 saie.

reading in depth the pdf was the reference to 2010 but really well hidden.

the result was a day of work lost as most of the exhibitors I was interested in were listed in pdf (relative to 2010) but did not expose to saie 2011

beautiful crap.... for me the saie has closed from next year I will go to the made

autocad+advanced steel
autocad+revit structure

I don't think it's better to keep current data while giving users the chance to change their choice.
