true, however for 3 months drivers are ok and setting for some softwares the obligation to use nvidia instead of the intel has solved everything.returning to us, if the budget does not allow you to purchase a mobile workstation, take a consumer, but I would tell you to stay on asus or sony with vga ati, this should avoid you problems as it seems to me that they are the best consumer as care/assembly/progettation and at the same time to a normal vga, it is not schifezza with continuous change of vga for energy saving.

you have confirmed the issues you so much feel about the hp even on those "black and serious" (although a user has evidenced a net improvement in the new series) .
at this point I believe that in order not to risk I will direct myself on another brand starting with the assessment of those on which you have had positive feedback (as emerges from some posts) .

I found them on the site acer and immediately downloaded. I couldn't make it work, and I lost a few hours. I did so:true, however for 3 months drivers are ok and setting for some softwares the obligation to use nvidia instead of the intel has solved everything.
Uninstalled the original intel and nvidia drivers in temporary mode, restarted, installed the intel drivers and then the nvidia.
In this way the card no longer works properly and you can't even set the native resolution of the display.
if you reverse the installation order the intel card works correctly, while the nvidia is not recognized with consequent error in peripheral management.
Do you have an acer? Did you get him to take the new drivers?

nvidia drivers do not take them and not even those acers other than the original. Asus are however better, I had seen a very interesting model, but given the burnt I went of precision.

However I did not want to risk with a hp also because apart from the problem of overheating for which I heard many complaints to think about it well I do not even want to buy a brand that still does not know what to do of your notebook sector (I read an interview of the manager hp of this sector that practically revealed not yet know what was the fate of this branch of company).
in the end I opted for a samsung with processor i7 that probably overclocckerò, 8gb of ram,hd from 750 to 7200rpm etc... in the first days of use I am very satisfied: I launched a little bit of medium-heavy programs and the monitoring of temperatures reveals an excellent ability to heat disposal...with the cooling base then I should never have any problems,healthy.
