conversion from pkg to neutral format

happy to all, I am new to this room because user of solid edge... Now I have a problem involving cocreate.
I should import .pkg files into solid edge so I would need to convert them to iges parasolid or step... who gave me pkg files tells me not to be enabled to convert them (possible? :eek: what license do you have?) how could I do? if I install the personal edition I can do the conversion? otherwise how could I do it?

no, the personal version does not matter commercial pkg files.
your colleague may need to enable step and iges interfaces, which do not leave by default. At that point it can export to these formats.

your colleague (as has already introduced hunter) should enable packages as they do not have loaded automatically.

the command is inside the menu "applications" -> "modules" -> "data interfaces" then must ensure that the various formats "iges", "step", "stl", etc. are flagged.

if the designs were made with the free extension pk2 you can not export to step or iges

if they are made in pkg you cannot open them with free because it reads only pk2 and is not enabled to read neutral formats.
