I have seen some time ago the site of the sculptor, offer to the private the possibility
to order on line the own prints, or even very nice gadgets, that are processed online in real time and preventive, then printed and delivered at home... then I also saw the Italian version of the thing, made well of course (I am a patriot!) and, as would say carrie of sex and the city, I can not help to ask if they work, that is really the private frontier of the near future for the 3d printing ? ? !

Does anyone have any concrete news about business and the like?

There was an article the other day of a similar thing in uses with obama and a boy showing him a shooter designed and built in the house by him with a 3d printer.

I would be comfortable with modeling, being able to build details and everything else for my needs, but you have to see how much it costs to have one in the house.

lately I'm working wood:biggrin:, i.e. I'm making bones on a small wooden boat, it's the first one I build and I'm using it as a test bench to understand the processes of modeling/work that are different from the classic plastic or resin kits, but as soon as I put hands to the collection of hydroplants in kits that I have at home it would be interesting to make improvements and details without having to use the autoconstruction or the purchase of better sets.
interesting would be to know what the mimime size of the pieces can be created with these printers.
