2d facades from 3d model

Hello.

use autocad 2008 and I have the following problem:
I designed the 3d model of a house.
now according to the changes made in 3d we want to get from the model the facades 2d without having to redise everything from head but also without continuing to work on model 3d, which is more difficult
to make changes and try variants.

according to you, what is the most convenient way
to do that?

first do not use autocad :biggrin:

at the bottom left press on the layout key, then type "viewport" and enter a window. from the window frame the model with the view you prefer.

you can set a print scale.

from layout, this is possible.
if you use the solview commands to set the view and then soldraw, autocad will go to draw the view lines on the model space, on separate layers, so you can manage the drawing by moving it, copying it, etc.

uploading the additional comnado _plaetten (don't ask me where it comes from) from a library available in our office I reduced the three-dimensional obggets in 2d.

I've so held my face, but...

apply the nets. .
In short, perhaps the best method to diseganre faccaite in autocad and draw them apart starting again ex novo...

Anyway... listen to me, follow the advice of tristan (if your model is composed of solids), without tipping anything:

- put yourself in an orthogonal view of the facade you must represent (view control)
- type flatshot, disable the option darkened lines->show and then click on "create"
- place the block that is created wherever you want
- type clip cut and select the block
- Put yourself back in -vista _top and type pasteclip

Oh, my God.
the correct method to make a table of a 3d model is the one indicated by xxfast.
it would be useful, however, to know that version of autocad uses, to avoid reporting commands that you don't find in your version.
