da vray a mentalray

hi, they gave me some objects already equipped with vray loaded materials, but I use mental ray, there is a way to export them from one engine to make them to another?

hi, I tried to make it work but nothing happens maybe because I have 3dsmax2012 and the script is for 3ds8..... thanks the same!:smile:

but if you open the file, check a standard material, climb it up and then insert it into your mr file and give it back the materials! !you wanted to use the same traslandoli materials..from software to another?if the script does not work, try to search for a more updated version...I used this with good results. . .http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/multyconvertor

hi, I downloaded multyconverter, but not hung up to figure out how it works, opens the window in the attachment ... I have to select in the left column the engine to make the start and in the right column the target one?
