My name is Davide and I have been hired for a few days as a systemist at an architecture office. I was asked to install revit 2013 on all machines but it is the first time I am in front of this software.
came to point 5 of 9 to about 90% revit installation 2013 and now appeared a window with written "preparing revit content". from what I understood by downloading the software libraries and in fact from activity management it is seen that the network is used in full system (so sure you download something). my doubt is about the installation time: He's been here for 1 and a half hours and he's not done yet, is he normal? It's not like I've got all the time in the world. I'm done here. Who's going on? How much does it take to install this software more or less? I don't find it written anywhere and there's no estimated time. It's the first time a software spys on me like this.

work is work, I have days off variables in the week (but I think it is off topic the topic). I am not an experienced systemist (I am in apprenticeship also called "junior") but, I do not claim to have a standard installation time (I asked them).
if I asked is why there is no window sill but only a window with a loop animation indicating the "download of contents" but there is no window where you can see the progress (and the remaining estimated time). You know?
but yes unfortunately he had nailed himself. the internal network of the office did not connect the software to the internet, I had to insert the due exceptions, clean everything (because apparently it does not clean the computer when canceling the installation) and reinstall. it put a lot of it (I would say 2 plentiful bears) but it finally ended. .

Anyway, I do a little bit of everything. In theory, I should only take care of the network, but in the end I also do as a technician and electrician... work is work if they ask I do.
