I've been following you for a while.
I am new to this forum and recently I approached using revit for design.
looking for some bim system to be able to calculate the lighting requirements within the premises.
imm1 you will
I did a test on a simplified model. . just some wall to form 3 premises and I added some windows to verify feasibility.
set up here I created a new abacus windows in which I set the display of the premises, and added others that then hid from the abacus but that I served to calculate them as high as the windowed supeficie for each room.. that I formatted by activating "total calcula". A little twisted! !
the next step was to create the field rai given by the window/sup surface formula. Local.
all right here. I thought it was done but...
wishing in some way to speed up the verification I tried to generate a field that specified me if the rei value, previously calculated, satisfied the verification required by law or not...
probably because of my inexperience I failed to set the field generated by calculated value that I called as verification
type yes/no, and set the formula rai>0.125 (0.125 is the minimum 1/8 verification ratio for lighting requirements). .
practically seen the results of the respective designed premises. . only the local 3 meets the verification.... and then.... why does the check box for this show the word no?... see image 1 attached
imm1rai(1)
I also tried, for verification, to lower the value inserted in the verification formula... and until I enter a value less than 0.1 the vefifica field does not change.... see image 2
imm2 you will
Can you help me? ... It's like a calibration... I don't know.
I hope I've explained it satisfactorily. . .
thanks to all
