Good morning, everyone.

I find myself having to model a funnel matrix and the technical office that made the prototype works with solidworks.
Now I wanted to ask if, apart from the various .iges, parasolid or .step, there is a way to open a dassault native file with pro/e.
the colleague who modeled the prototype matrix insists that converting the file would lose "important" information....that I think a great cabbage. (nn is a complete mold, but a simple profile).

Does anyone know more about me?

Thank you.

Fabrious.

There is no way to import solid works files directly into pro-e wf 5.0 if you do not have a solid works license. However, you would care for a dead geometry without the feature tree, so not parametric.
You send a step, you'll see that's gonna be fine.
Bye.

Bye. if I have the license as you can import from pro and wf5.0 the native file of solidworks keeping the feature tree as the same ptc says it is feasible?

non può essere vero. mai visto o sentito dire.
da una breve ricerca in rete:
load and save native solidworks parasolid design data directly from creo elements/direct modeling without solidworks software.

excuse my ignorance but: "charging and saving native 3d design data of solidworks directly in creo elements/direct modeling or creo elements/direct 3d access without having to use 3d solidworks design software " does not mean that you can open?

I think they read native and then save in parasolid ... my modest opinion ... and if so it would not mean that we missed something at market level ... ptc bought ds or vice versa ...
