svergola --> iron

Good morning to all,
I never had to use the svergola function --> iron
I found nothing really explanatory between forum discussions and the help center.

I would like to deepen the iron function and I would like to know if there is a possibility of ironing a part of a 3d model of a certain measure in the direction of an axis
es: a 200mm long piece to shorten at 180mm or stretch at 220mm
I ask this because trying I noticed that the size of a piece is indicated with 1,000 and the iron command stretches/accorcia in the right percentage?

that you should be able to do it with the odds of the piece if you built it correctly with pro/e
if the piece is imported you may use surfaces (of course depends on the complexity of the object)
I don't think the "svergola" command was designed for this (in the sense of changing a measure) even because once "transformed" the piece loses all references on flat surfaces and for example you can't use them as a plan for extrusion

n.b.
I still use wf2 does not know if in the meantime the command has been modified

certainly the change of quotas ok is the most logical way, but I wanted to understand well the operation of this command.
banal example, autocad has this command with which you can iron even only a zone of a particular design.
my post was just to understand what kind of functionality this command since I never used it in my life dedicated to proes (about 20 years... )
