entrance cover

Bye to all,
a relative asked me to design a cover for his entrance (point of sale building materials).
He sent me this photo (alleged) to take as a reference to what he would like.
I wanted to ask you for help on how to start,size, materials to use, thicknesses, if there is any 3d model in some online cad library. . .

the length will be 2000mm, the depth to be evaluated. says it will have to keep only its weight as it will be covered with very light transparent material.

As you say

more obviously wind and snow, therefore however a certain resistance is necessary. a 2 meter deal is practically a sail of a boat.

find similar products industrially you can turn to them, so as to ensure proper construction and installation. which takes into account the water discharges of the fixings etc.
