Bye to all,
Does anyone know how to tell me the best and quickest method to make assembly instructions starting from a finished product ( .iam file)?
is it better to switch from a .ipn file and then copy views to .dwg or .idw?
to add images (jpg - tiff - bmp) is better to use .dwg?
the resulting files become very heavy and in some cases when I open them I disappear the views imported from .ipn.

Thank you.

No, the position of the debate is correct. I wanted to point out that there are softwares created to quickly create explosions and images for technical manuals. in the house autodesk there is inventor publisher who, among the various competitors is the most limited, but also the cheapest.
then there is 3dvia composed of dessault, there is a ptc product (which I do not remember), and other...
You can do it as an inventor, I've done it several times by swx, and I'm going to extract images to be glued in the publication.
if you need images style "drawn" I make temporary drawings, saved in the path of the manual, and I shoot out the pictures from there.
with 3dvia is all + fast, especially in case of change.

so to make somewhat complex instructions the inventor presentation module is not indicated. better think about different solutions.
Thank you.

you can do excellent instructions even if you extract images from the cad, only takes a lot of time for preparation and extraction.
if you do so often a dedicated solution is more productive, try to give an eye to youtube and you realize the potential of these software.

bye, we will shortly pass from drawing 2d to 3d, and I was evaluating various software to be able to write technical documentation to attach to the engineered machinery. I was evaluating inventor publisher but from what you say seems rather limited, the software I use for technical documentation at the present state is adobe framemaker but has a very long learning curve while being very powerful. . .
