hello to all I am with a ws fujitsu h910 with 17.3" screen and this 27" low quality screen http://www.benq.com/product/monitor/ew2730v I have a big desk but I don't know how to place them! use powermill 12, solidworks 13 and draftsight. operating system w8. I find myself with the monitor too much for my head (I have a very low stool to stand straight with my back). Now I have laptop and mute flanked at about 120° but using the laptop keyboard I find uncomfortable. How can I do that?

Hi, guys.
in this field I think I have a discreet experience.
I worked years with 4 monitors flanked by 20"
the fundamental thing is that they are all identical at least as a resolution.
in the case of monitors of different sizes we have to control the dot pich, which means earth earth how many pixels there are for each thumb of monitor. if we have the same value we will not have the problem of different height characters between two different panel sizes.
I did a test with the 30" dial and next to one of my 20" vertically and the font size is identical for this reason.

I think, however, that in our days, having a monitor of 29"/30" is more than enough, not so much for the expense, but for the encumbrance on the desk and more important for our neck ... not having to turn the head continuously .

I'm sorry, but these days I'm a little in a hurry. the two models have pros and cons. the 2412 is brighter and consumes less energy (work almost cold) as backlit led. has a great contrast and you see well.
the 2410 is a more "soft" panel with less powerful lighting, heats a little more.
at the end to look all day I find better the 2410, just because fatigue less the view for this more quiet illumination.
2410 is much more "accessory" than 2412. there are many + inputs, has card reader, etc... you see a monitor built in a less economical way than the 2412 (when it came out it cost a lot).
the 2412 is an ultrasharp with a great panel (like all ultrasharp) but built a little more economically, while having everything necessary (dvi input, vga, dp, hub usb 4 doors, support adjustments, etc...)

If I try to set the brightness between the two at the same level I see differences between the two?

I'm not an expert... the qualitative appearance is better on the u2410 and tired less.
ips discourse is however valid for both, the colors are well regular even with high viewing angles.
As I told you, I have them both all day. I work on 2410, on 2412 I leave the secondary activities.

Until today I have worked with two samsung ta350 that will have to be used for other uses.
