nvidia video card problem with inventor 2011

Hi.

I don't know if I'm writing in the correct section, I apologize if it wasn't.
I installed inventor 2011 on my laptop with card videl nvidia geforce 540 gt, but inventor seems not to see it. at the time of opening I immediately noticed something strange, some parts of the menu sometimes disappear then go on reappearing and I struggle to select the menu keys.
it seemed strange to me because with ati not being certified could even stand there but nvidia are certified and, certainly not being the best my 540 is still a card with 2 gb of dedicated memory.
opening a drawing and doing the analysis on graphic settings I discovered, reading the message that graphic hardware is the i5 (processor ) is as if it did not see envy but the graphic processor inside the motherboard.

the card works and on system does not give me any conflict.

Do you have any ideas? Where can I say in inventor, use the nvidia card?
or someone has my own card and has the same problem... .
I had first installed the 2010 version (not to work as I use fixed workstations at work, but just to have it and maybe to finish or display something) on the old laptop with a finger with shared additive memory and never had problems... Of course it wasn't lightning but never such a problem.

thanks to all

are certified many nvidia but not all nvidia... This is a geforce and also for laptops. in fact looking at the special site to download the drivers certified by autodesk http://www.inventor-certified.com/graphics/index.php, your card is not listed.
It's weird that you don't see the card at all, the only thing that comes to mind is trying to update the inventor database. http://www.inventor-certified.com/graphics/registries.php and update the card driver by downloading it from the nvidia site.

attempts are as follows:

- open inventor, tools, application options, hardware card, choose one of the 3 settings. ..the first is for certificates, the second minus, and the third for bad cards.

- download the updated drivers of your nvidia geforce 570 gt card

- look for the equivalent quard card and do the softmod to turn it into the professional version if you can

Good morning to all, I am new to the forum and I have a question to ask you.
I installed inventor 2011 on several p.c. In the school where I work.
on p.c. that use s.o. windows xp, no problem, although having a ram limited to 2gb.
in others who are more recent and use s.o. windows 7 professional, give me the following problem: when I have to make holes for example, it does not allow me to select the profile for the rotation axis.
provided that:
1) the program is correctly installed
2) video card drivers (of various brands) are correctly installed and updated
3) while attempting the 3d setting of ati nothing happens

Can anyone help me?
waiting for your kind answer I greet you and wish you good work.

when I have to make holes for example, it does not allow me to select the profile for the rotation axis.
hello eatwell, will it not be a problem of the geometry of the axis on which you have to run the circular series?

Dear ulantax, thank you for answering me.
then, the absurd thing is that on windows xp with not exceptional graphics cards, it goes that it is a bomb, while having only 2gb of ram.
with windows 7 professional, with 4gb of ram on standard cards wga is fine, instead with ati radeon 5450 makes me inc............ .
if some good soul gives me some advice I thank him very much.
hello and good weekend to all.

instead with ati radeon 5450 makes me inc............ .
disabled aero : dx on the desktop --> customizes --> desktop background --> choose one that does not have the transparent handle (uses basic themes, sharper but faster)
