machining series with rotation of the same

Hi all the boys, it seemed like there was a discussion about the problem, but now I can't find it, and in addition all this rain washed my brain:wink: :
I have to make a series of equal holes on a staggered tree 120° one compared to the other, with a certain longitudinal step compared to the shaft itself.
Does anyone remember how to do it? Thank you.

I made the spiral along the tree, but I can't place the drill along its characteristic points at 120 °, I get out absurd positions, are they on jokes aside?

in the options of the spiral as revolutions I put 1/3, because 1 = full spiral round = 360°
for which to make 120° = 1/3 (120°*3 = 360°)

do the first hole and then start the 3d sketch from this with the exact number of "spire" ...

you must bind the spiral start point with the hole center with matching bond.

done. I didn't really see that you had to assign the orientation by clicking "dir1" thanks to all! !
