Hi.
I have a problem, I should convert files of a plant to be able to read them with modeling (ptc-cocreate).
Now not knowing inventor, I see that there are many files with two extensions .."ipt" and "iam" there is a way to understand what is the general axieme?
I'm downloading the latest version of inventor (30 gg free) can I convert in light sizes step, sat, iges?

help me the names of the files do not indicate me anything, as well as the size of them.
in modeling we have only one file....

ipt = part
iam = total (partial or general nothing discriminates against it, not even size )
inventor converts well into stp, very bad in igs, I don't know in sat (I converted small details in sat until we set on stp for anything )

You have to open the "father" axieme and save it in step. The step so generated should contain all parts, and you should be able to reopen it in full modeling.

Now to understand what the general axieme is, or ask who sent you the files or arrange with the previews. I don't know if you can do anything with the project manager, here you'd better answer who's an inventor's expert.

I open a file that looks like the general axieme... but during the opening (long) I don't find any textures in particular "fence_1&.bmp" ...there's the "unconscious" button but it doesn't make me move on, what do I do?

Strange... (Let me not let you continue)
I was in you trying to find another texture randomly, fence will be a network... If you sail between the textures in the inventor's dir maybe choose one where you see the magenta color that should be transparent.
