insert blocks along a polyline

Hello everyone,
I need to insert about 4000 long polylinee blocks
I would need a flexible system that would allow me to create polylines with fixed distance attached blocks.
the system to make divides and insert the blocks is not usable because the geometry of the polylinese will always change.
Do you have any ideas to speed up this insertion?
