fixing bolts with non-parallel surfaces

Hi.
I would like to fix a plate to an upn. But to inventor this does not like, I think because the inner surface of the upn is not parallel to the external one, the small fins have inclined surface. However it is quite common fixing in carpentry.
How can I solve this? is there some “barbatrucco” to digest this to inventor?

I can't remove the desired arrival plan. before these steps the choice of the fixing is disabled so I can not choose either the type of washer.

often it is so unflexible that it is done before putting machining in handles, this is a typical example
