extrude a sketch projected on a face

Hello, everyone.

after creating a solid semi-cylinder, I created a tangent plan and drew them a helix.After doing this I created a 3d sketch to project the helix into the solid.

the point is that now I would like to extrude the projected helix but I can't, in 3d sketches it doesn't let me extrude.

I leave the file to better understand.

I'm using inventor 2013.

You know I don't understand why you want to extrude the 3d sketch?
Maybe, since you're in a sheet metal environment, you want to use the sketch for a cutting operation?

Why don't you extrude the ellipse you drew on the tangent plane? (and then maybe cut the solid part you don't need)

I think it's not necessary to project the ellipse on the surface, but once I do the sketch on the tangent plane, you can try using the "swimming" command.

In the meantime I had solved before creating the flat sheet, then cutting the helix dopidid that I used the command "full part".
