I have this doubt that, maybe you know how to answer.
I would like to create a set to manage the grilled panels with inventor. A grill is like this!

I would like the axieme that I go to create to be able to change the number of plates and swallows inside it according to the maximum encumbrance, but maintaining a predetermined interasse. any differences should be compensated at the ends.

therefore if I have a grilled 18 cm wide and the swallows are at 6 cm should appear 2 swallows with distance from the edges of 3 cm. In this way every time I have to place a grill would just indicate the maximum size.

Can you do that?

But now I have to understand how this is done. I didn't understand how you did it!
I noticed that there is a small problem by setting widths that are not multiple interassis.
For example if imposed, width =120mm, a plate of edge is detached from the tondino. however nothing relevant

This is how I kept, without succeeding, to set the model.
design the section of the dish, then extrude it.
I create a sketch on the long side of the plate and design a circle placing it halfway along the top edge, extruding creating the tondino.

I create a set of plates at a fixed distance, but whose number depends on the width.
here in difficulty because I can't set a function of the type:
number of the series (i.e. repetition of the dishes) = flat width / distance (all approximated by defect).

Would you be so kind to explain where I'm wrong?

look in the model that I posted the parameters table, find how I set it all.
for approximation: If you tell him to make a series of 13,45 pieces, it serializes 13, if you tell him you want 13.55 pieces, it serializes 14.
As for the extra tondino, there are ilogic functions to exclude it, but I don't know them.
you can add if any, a (-1) to the number of swallows coming out of the equation, always in the table parameters

to change width/length, go to this table and write directly the values you want to get.
this serves when you need to insert the same grid into different sizes in one or more assemblies.
you can create grilled with different sizes by changing the table directly from the axieme .
